Maybe you don’t like this shoe, maybe they piss you off by just the looks of them, maybe you think they are a work of art. Either way its doesn’t matter today. Today we pay homage to one of the GREATEST designers known to man, Lee “Alexander” McQueen.
I remember watching red carpets and hearing actresses and actors saying, “I’m wearing Alexander McQueen.” I would think to myself, “Wow! Who is this designer!” I was just thinking to myself months ago if I were to ever have an internship for annnnnny designer it would be Alexander McQueen. As a British designer he defined fashion with the illuminating thoughts within his mind. You could always count on him to NEVER repeat the same thing twice and always become flabbergasted at his elevated dernier cri.
“His ability to cut was parallel to someone like Christian Dior… He had the most amazing natural ability.” – Mark Henderson, chief executive of Gieves & Hawkes.
At the age of 40, Lee “Alexander” McQueen was found lifeless in his home today, in London, England.
