J.Cole has been a fixture on ypblogspot for some time now and like I’ve said a million times I think he has a great shot at stardom. Talent wise there is no denying him and hopefully his debut album will prove true. According to J.Cole the album is dropping no later than October of this year but hopefully it drops sooner. Flauce has been a fixture (feature) on YPBlogSpot and he sent me another video last night for his version of Drake’s “Fear” joint. You probably remember Flauce’s “Fear” being a YPRichB Song of the Moment back in February. Being a long time friend of Flauce I noticed Momma Flauce makes a cameo in the video directed by Chi Brown, a director that does a lot of photography and videos for artists down in the North Carolina area. “Take It Personal” the mixtape coming soon so enjoy the video and song and rest in peace Grandma Flauce!

YPs when I first got Alicia Keys’ latest album The Element of Freedom this song was my favorite. This is a song written by Drake and you can hear his vocals in the background a little bit during the song as well. I also believe this is Ms. Keys’ latest single and the video, well features the beautiful Ms. Keys of course which is always a pleasant site. Great song, Alicia Keys so what more can you ask for. Erykah Badu returns with her newest album “New Amerykah, pt.2…” in stores today. I had a chance to check out the album and if you’re a fan of her work then this album won’t disappoint. This past weekend Erykah’s video for her first single “Window Seat” had the internet buzzing due to some brave actions Erykah pulls off in the video. I won’t ruin it for you but I will say that all of this happened in real time and there were no green screens. The video was shot in Texas and everything you’re about to witness did happen. I encourage you all to definitely watch the video in it’s entirety because she makes a great point about individualism at the end. Plus I think this song is really dope. Check out “Window Seat” below.

There’s been a lot of talk concerning this music video and possibly some hidden messages in the imagery. I personally am not familiar with “Illuminati” and/or “Freemasons” to speak on any hidden messages going on in the video but the video is a bit strange to me.
