Kanye West- Devil in a new dress

hard to be humble when you stuntin on a jumbotron”

Although Ye dropped this song last Friday as a part of his G.O.O.D. Friday series, this joint is still in heavy rotation in my ipod. Below J. Cole hopped on the same beat (Produced by Bink) and did his thing. Apparently Cole’s version is off an upcoming mixtape “Villematic” before he drops his album this year. Enjoy both versions cuz that beat is insane.   Turn it up YPs.  Happy Friday.

J.Cole has been a fixture on ypblogspot for some time now and like I’ve said a million times I think he has a great shot at stardom. Talent wise there is no denying him and hopefully his debut album will prove true. According to J.Cole the album is dropping no later than October of this year but hopefully it drops sooner. In the meantime take a look and listen to “Who Dat” the first single and video for J.Cole. Enjoy.

As followers of the site I know you’ve seen me post plenty of songs/blogs regarding Drake and J. Cole. Like I’ve stated over and over again I’m really huge fans of theirs and I’m really look forward to them putting out some great music for a long time. Today YPRuck hit me with a question that I’ve thought about on my own from time to time: Who is better between the two?? That question is not an easy one to answer and I’m not sure I have the true answer. I will say that I admire both of their catalogs equally. The way I view this debate is the same way I view Jay-Z vs. Nas. [click to continue…]
