Graduate School

          I remember writing a blog titled, To Master or Not to Master, That is the ? back in December of 2009. In that blog, I weighed the negatives, and positives about pursuing a masters, and I still struggle with those same questions to this day! I talked about leaning towards pursuing a masters, and I am proud of the fact that I am taking that chance on myself, instead of being easily content with my current situation. Fast forward to September 2010, and I will starting graduate school on the 1st. I was able to set a goal, and see it through. Even though I have yet to step foot in my first class, I am excited, but at the same time I am a bit hesitant of the unknown! But as readers of YPblogspot, we know we cannot fear the unknown, but embrace it and face it head on, which is what I intend to do. I would never have pictured myself in this position when I graduated from Rutgers College back in 05, but life as we all know can take unexpected turns. [click to continue…]

          When I network with other people our age, it seems like a lot of us have the same question, whether to pursue a masters. Some might already be in grad school, or even completed it, but that is a question that I keep going back and forth with. I think to myself, “do I go back to school and get my masters, or do I count on my experience, and ambition to get me through?” I know masters would look great on my resume, and along with my experience, would make me very marketable.
