“Winner” by Flauce: Flowers in the Attic

Can’t you see I’m blessed…no more giving into gossip…

Can’t lead me a stray I don’t care what you say.

No weapon against me shall prosper.

I don’t care bout being popular.

Can’t let the devil box me up.

I’m a rise to the top with ya.

With faith I die for ya.

Ride for you like the mafia.

Last time we heard from Flauce we shared his first gospel rap single titled “Memories” Flauce sent me a text a couple of weeks ago regarding a new single he was getting ready to release.  Ladies and gentlemen, YPBlogSpot is proud to share Flauce’s latest single “Winner”.  Flauce lyrically expresses how he’s winning with GOD by his side in spite of his falling short time and time again.  I think Flauce is onto something and creating a lane for hip-hop fans that are in the church that are looking for non-cheesy gospel rap.  If Flauce didn’t use GOD or Christ references you probably wouldn’t know this was a gospel rap song.  Please take a listen and share your thoughts and support good music.  Thank Flauce for providing a soundtrack for us “WINNERS”!!!

Tonkyman Productions is made up of two guys that graduated from Rutgers University (Camden Campus) where I graduated from as well.  They were a couple of years behind me in undergrad but I love the fact that they’re pursuing/living their dreams and on their way to Successville.   Brian Adrian and Duval are two music heads that love music and decided to produce their own music.  Checkout a few tracks produced by the future super producers below for your listening pleasure.  (See widget in media box to the right of this post for more Tonkyman Productions.)  Share your thoughts.

Who Is Tonkyman??

Tonkyman was founded in the fall of 2004 while BrianAdrian and Duval were sophomores in college. We compose music through various conventional (piano, drums) and unconventional (beatbox, armpits) instruments. BrianAdrian has produced a major portion of the debut cd for Newark, NJ rapper Motiv(see in current projects). We’ve also leant our services to indie artists such as The Authentic, AR Tha Gunn [click to continue…]

Flauce: Memories

“Please Lord forgive me. I pray you hear the words I confess.  And see the obstacles tryna hinder my success…

…I search for a new beginning. It’s like the battle inside of myself is never ending.  I testify cause it’s hard for me to say goodbye to, lusting and bigotry understanding it vividly. A sad song if you don’t appreciate the symphony and serving to masters is bigamy; the enemy, tryna sit with me.”

Flauce sent me his first single off of his up and coming album titled “Memories”.  I do not have an anticipated release date but Flauce is taking his music in a different direction.  He hinted at a new direction he was taking his music and YPBlogSpot will have an exclusive interview with Flauce regarding this matter.  This single will give you a pretty good idea of where this young man is headed.  In addition, checkout Flauce’s rendition of Ace Hood’s “Hustle Hard” titled “Praise ‘Em” freestyle for your listening pleasure to the right in the YP Media Box.  Take a listen to both tracks and share your thoughts YPs.  Flauce interview coming soon…

April 29, 2010

YPs I stumbled across Bad News Brown by accident, well I was tricked because I clicked on a link I thought was for Eminem’s new single “Not Afraid”.  To my surprise I wasn’t even upset that I was duped into listening to Bad News Brown’s “Reign” via his harmonica.  This is something NEW, different and [...]
