The wait is finally over!!! For the past year we’ve been featuring music from Flauce and now his highly anticipated mixtape “Take it Personal” has finally arrived. We’ve had the opportunity to get an early listen to it and it’s definitely been worth the wait. Flauce has definitely proved that he’s a great MC with a bright future ahead of him.

Flauce has been a fixture (feature) on YPBlogSpot and he sent me another video last night for his version of Drake’s “Fear” joint. You probably remember Flauce’s “Fear” being a YPRichB Song of the Moment back in February. Being a long time friend of Flauce I noticed Momma Flauce makes a cameo in the video directed by Chi Brown, a director that does a lot of photography and videos for artists down in the North Carolina area. “Take It Personal” the mixtape coming soon so enjoy the video and song and rest in peace Grandma Flauce!
YPRichB: Flauce returns with another Freestyle for your listening pleasures from his upcoming mixtape “Take It Personal” tentatively scheduled to drop later this month. As a huge music fan I’m happy to see Flauce pay homage to Big L. Big L is someone who never really got a chance to reach his full potential due to him being murdered in 1999. Jay-Z has said that Big L was set to sign with his Roc-A-Fella label, but was murdered the week before the scheduled signing. Check out Flauce’s “Big L-ish (Freestyle)” and be on the lookout for that mixtape “Take it Personal” dropping soon.

From the death of his grandmother (R.I.P.) to him wanting to provide for his mother through his hard work, Flauce definitely bears his soul on this joint. Flauce is set to drop his anticipated mixtape Take It Personal this spring to heat up the summer just right and here is another track that will be on the mixtape “Got You Open”. A soulful, smooth track that Flauce displays good word play that begins with a smooth delivery then he transitions into a fast delivery then back to a smooth delivery displaying his versatility as a MC. I’m impressed and can’t wait for the mixtape Take It Personal to drop this spring but until then I will have this on the iPod and in the wheel. Enjoy this track called “Got You Open” by Flauce YPs.
Check out this new track by Flauce “Mic Please” off his upcoming mixtape “Take it Personal”. Here Flauce goes in over J. Cole’s “Lights Please” beat and speaks on some issues he sees with the music being presented today. The first verse illustrates this point as Flauce explores how rappers aren’t truthful in their music with lines like:
“I got this microphone that I use for my talent / to share the industry a public service announcement/ and talk about the balance but really its the epitome of problems that we facing/ due to their inconsistencies/ muthafuck*** make believe, the audience may believe / shit that you record in the studio just to make some cheese/ however you may achieve, you leave out the truth/ i guess its for sales, he saying shit to recoup”
Later he digs into the potential influence these lines have on the listeners by saying:
“…so they think it’s cool to hustle and sell crack/ promoting what he rap they thinking he does that/ but they don’t know the shit in the video ain’t fact / walking around strapped cause they see him on the tube / and the blog site he got hold about a million views”
He definitely goes in on this track and makes some really valid points on some issues that really hurt mainstream rap without sounding too preachy. This track is definitely worth your listen. YP’s this is one of my closest friends as well as an up and coming Hip-Hop artist that goes by the name of Flauce. He sent me this track a little over a month ago and I’ve been banging it in the wheel and thought I would share and show him some luv. It’s called “Give Me Ya Luv”.
