This song is by one of my favorite rappers, Phonte, of the group Little Brother. Basically Phonte is telling his story of quitting his job to pursue his dream of music and the events that followed. Whether or not they’re recognized on the Billboard charts is irrelevant when considering they are able to support themselves by following their hearts instead of following what’s expected. He didn’t know where he’d end up but pursued the dream anyway. Dream big folks!!!!
