“It is a terrible thing to see and have no vision.”
- Helen Keller
Helen Keller (1880-1968) was quite possibly the most remarkable person ever to grace our planet. Left deaf and blind as a result of a childhood illness at the age of 19 months, Helen Keller nevertheless became an articulate spokesperson for the dignity of all individuals. (motivationalquotes.com)
Heller Keller was left deaf and blind and she was able to accomplish so much with women’s suffrage, as well as other work important to her. I like this quote because, even though she was blind, she was able to see. She saw what was important to her, and went after it with vigor and determination. Imagine what we can do if we have a vision, and put hard work and effort behind it! Wow…
