Law 9: Win Through Your Actions, Never Through Argument
“Understand this: Words are a dime a dozen. Everyone knows that in the heat of an argument, we will all say anything to support our cause. We will quote the Bible, refer to unverifiable statistics. Who can be persuaded by bags of air like that? Action and demonstration are much more powerful and meaningful. They are there, before our eyes, for us to see-There are no offensive words, no possibility of misinterpretation. No one can argue with a demonstrated proof.”
YPRuck: YP’s don’t waste your time and energy arguing with people when you know you’re right especially when dealing with someone such as your boss, or someone that has authority over you or your significant other. Arguing not only wastes your time and energy but in a war of words someone is more than likely to be offended which could lead to bruised relationships and/or the end of some relationships. Instead, allow your actions to speak louder than your words and keep healthy relationships in good standing at the end of the day.
