Get On Your “Grown Man”
Now a days you find young men more into sneakers. Majority of them amble out to get their Jordan’s before they run out, just so they can add to their collection and show them off. Sneakers have become the essential item in a man’s wardrobe. Some of them have come to believe that having “that” sneaker will draw major attention to everyone, hopefully more towards “that” girl. In my opinion, having sneakers as their capital to their wardrobe should not be the case. There is nothing like a bland and racy dress shoe. Putting away the sneakers for awhile and pulling out the dress shoe exemplifies so much more about a man. For example:
1. Ooo! He must have a NICE JOB!
2. Hmm, Tasty
3. He must have MONEY!
4. Damn, he has style!
5. I wonder if he’ll notice me, because i damn sure notice him!
Where as though if you were just wearing a pair of sneakers:
1. I wonder how old he is?
2. I wonder if he really has a job?
3. Oh, his sneaks are nice?
4. He probably acts young…
5. NEXT!
Do you see where I’m going with this? Exactly! its like the bible verse: “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things” – 1 Corinthians 13:11 So men, put away the childish styles, it’s so blase`. GROW UP!
