Food For Thought:Expand Your Limits(“Quote”)
“Life extends way past the limitations that we give it, expand the mind some say, and we do as humans but to expand and forward yourself into the unknown, is not comforting to the sense of safety and the ability to trend water with the others. Look around 99 percent of us do the same things everyday. Sit back and think of the one thing you do different than any one else, if you can you are truly in the one percent. One starts to live only when they know what they are living for, other wise, we are robots with identical purpose.”
I often ask people how their days are going or how they been and I tend to get a response such as, “Same sh*t, different toilet(day) or same old same old”. Unfortunately, this is my answer as well which indicates that a lot of people in the work place or school are not too enthused about what they do on a daily basis but they just go with the flow to make ends meet. In other words, a lot of people are settling for the status quo. As the quote so eloquently puts it, a 9 to 5 gives us a sense of comfort which seems to keep us in line. In order to be successful you have to be willing to get out of your comfort zone.
Success is not just something you can go out and pick up at a Walmart or department store. Successful people understand that getting outside of their comfort zone will yield dividends of success in the long run. And as far as limits, you can truly only limit yourself by not making it happen. If you have only a 20 oz bottle to put a gallon worth of dreams in then I suggest you get yourself a container that’s big enough to hold your gallon worth of dreams. You’re either going to waste a lot of your dreams or you’re going to make it happen whether that means buying, asking, or making a bigger container to hold and maximize your dreams/goals/aspirations, etc.
At the end of the day, do what makes you happy YPs. I just ask that you ask yourself, “If I didn’t have this job, what would I be doing?” Figure out your true passion in life and make it happen and there are no limits that can not be expanded. Be successful YPs and stop being a robot!
