Who are the DVGBC Emerging Professionals?
DVGBC Emerging Professionals are the energetic and dynamic leaders of tomorrow’s green building movement. The program is geared toward individuals no longer in school and under 30, but does not exclude anyone who may be interested and are new to the industry or DVGBC. DVGBC Emerging Professionals seek to engage all those who are interested in learning about and advocating for sustainable building practices. So who are Emerging Professionals? Certainly many are young architects and engineers, but they also include young lawyers, education and healthcare professionals, sustainability consultants, and anyone else interested in the future of green building.
Come out to our meeting and get involved in our exciting new initiatives!
PATHWAY TO LEADERSHIP MENTORING PROGRAM
Let DVGBC help you on your journey to become a regional leader in the green building community! DVGBC board members are linked with individuals in our committee to provide small group or 1-on-1 guidance to those new to the field.
EARTH DAY OF SERVICE
We take initiative & give back to the community by coordinating a day of service for a building in need of sustainable upgrades.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Increase your network and educational opportunities.
CAREER CONVERSATIONS
A series of informal conversations with local leaders in sustainability in a setting that allows Emerging Professionals to ask career questions of some of the nation’s finest sustainability talent based in the Philadelphia area.
