Do you ever wonder why the coffee at your job is terrible? It may be that your company is buying cheap coffee or someone is sabotaging the coffee! When I first began at my gig the coffee was the worst! It taste like dirty water and I could not figure out why because it’s not that hard to make a pot of coffee. It never dawned on me that someone was sabotaging the coffee until one day I stumbled into the suspect in action.
In disbelief, I saw with my own two eyes the suspect take a half-full coffee pot and proceeded to run the faucet at FULL BLAST and fill the half-full coffee pot with water! Being the new guy I couldn’t say anything to the suspect, so I let it go thinking maybe it wasn’t something the suspect does on the regular until I saw the suspect do it again and I had to tell someone. I had mixed feelings about it because I thought it was hilarious and messed up but I did discover why the coffee taste like dirty water. So until action was taken I just made sure I got my cup of coffee before the suspect got into the office, but I usually just forgot about it if the suspect got into the office before I did. No one confronted the suspect about the situation, but a sign was posted at the coffee stations. The coffee is not Starbucks quality but it does get the job done, and now the dirty water taste is gone. I just have this advice, if the coffee is too strong for you try decaf, water down your own cup, but not the whole pot! You do have options to dilute your own coffee, but that does not include ruining the coffee for everyone! That’s just rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional!

In addition, some work sites do not even clean the pots. If you hadn’t thought about, take a look at the coffee posts, escpecially if they are glass and see the days, weeks, even months of old dried coffee inside them. That alone will make you dump that cup out.
lol that is so true i kno its sucks but once a month if i remember ill switch the reg coffe with decaff try it and once everyone is on the decaff switch it back its so funny watching them run around the building ;;;;;;
