Born to Nigerian parents, Chris Akinyemi, (a singer/ songwriter based in New Jersey, NY) pulls listeners ears with his visual storytelling, captivating melodies and charismatic persona. He teamed up with producer Dboy (Souldiggaz, Missy Elliot, Dirty Money) to record his first single “Radio”(Attached) off his debut EP “Autumn” . The song is mixed by industry veteran Harry Conyers (Foo fighters, Vanessa Williams, Mint Condition….). In the song, Chris depicts how he feels about the state of music today. Although in a gentle vibe, he makes his point elusively with his folk lyricism and doesn’t shy away from his pop sensibilities. The single is currently available for download on iTunes. Chris is a writer who creates music that truly speaks to the soul!

His first EP will be independently released under the Tannaz imprint in the Fall of 2010
