YPs we always talk about being a well balanced Young Professional here on YPBlogSpot and being spiritually grounded is apart of the equation regardless of your religious affiliation. Erykah Badu returns with her newest album “New Amerykah, pt.2…” in stores today. I had a chance to check out the album and if you’re a fan of her work then this album won’t disappoint. This past weekend Erykah’s video for her first single “Window Seat” had the internet buzzing due to some brave actions Erykah pulls off in the video. I won’t ruin it for you but I will say that all of this happened in real time and there were no green screens. The video was shot in Texas and everything you’re about to witness did happen. I encourage you all to definitely watch the video in it’s entirety because she makes a great point about individualism at the end. Plus I think this song is really dope. Check out “Window Seat” below.
Usher returns with his new album “Raymond v. Raymond” today. A lot of people (including myself) have been down on Usher since his last album “Here I Stand.” Personally I didn’t feel like that was one of his better albums but, Usher has definitely come back strong on his new album “Raymond v. Raymond.” Check out “OMG” and my personal favorite “Mars vs. Venus” below and support the album, in stores now.
