Fat Joe is back with the first single “Ha Ha” featuring Young Jeezy off his upcoming album “The Darkside”. I’ve always been a fan of Fat Joe when he raps over tracks like this as opposed to trying to be a down south rapper. This beat is courtesy of Scoop Deville, who produced “I wanna rock” by Snoop Dogg. So far the kid is 2 for 2. Take a listen to him flip Soul II Soul’s “Back to Life” for this new banger.

I knew it just a matter of time before someone took “Pants on the Ground” and turned it into an actual song. Thankfully it was done by people who are actually good at what they do. Producer Double O from Kidz in the Hall samples “Pants on the Ground” and actually turns it into a good song. Bun B has been consistent since he came into the mainstream with “Big Pimpin” and this new song is no different. Off his new mixtape cleverly titled “No Mixtape” check out “Pants on the ground”.

Self discipline is the key to everything. I believe it down to my core.

I do believe that discipline is the key to everything. You can have as many goals and aspirations as you want, but without the discipline to see them through; they mean nothing. Success takes hard work and dedication. If it was easy, everyone would be successful. You have to ask yourself, “What is it that I want, and what am I willing to do to get it?”
Discipline is a strange thing. It is more affective when there is a party who is being disciplined and one who is doing the disciplining. The hard part, is when you are the only one holding yourself accountable. It’s easy to follow directions, but can you give your own directions and follow them everyday. The key to success is having the discipline to work at your craft day in and day out when there is not a soul around. YPs, do you want to be great? You have to work at it. You have to mean it. You have to live for it. YPs Stand Up!!!

Today I had one of the realest conversations I’ve had in a long time where I was asked “If you could have any job where you’d make good money and loved what you did, what would it be?” Instantly I responded that I would work in the music industry in some capacity. The next question was “What have you done or what are you doing to make that happen?” My answer was absolutely nothing. Since we were kids everyone has told us that we can be whatever we want to be. To some degree I feel like that statement is true but, without doing everything in your power to make your dreams a reality you’re kidding yourself. People who are successful usually have a one track mind when it comes to what they want. In one of the clips we posted on the site, Will Smith stated that when he puts his mind to something, its already done and done successfully. In other words, if he says I’m going to run 10 miles today, the run is already completed and it’s just a matter of actually running the race.
