“Life extends way past the limitations that we give it, expand the mind some say, and we do as humans but to expand and forward yourself into the unknown, is not comforting to the sense of safety and the ability to trend water with the others. Look around 99 percent of us do the same things everyday. Sit back and think of the one thing you do different than any one else, if you can you are truly in the one percent. One starts to live only when they know what they are living for, other wise, we are robots with identical purpose.”
I often ask people how their days are going or how they been and I tend to get a response such as, “Same sh*t, different toilet(day) or same old same old”. Unfortunately, this is my answer as well which indicates that a lot of people in the work place or school are not too enthused about what they do on a daily basis but they just go with the flow to make ends meet. In other words, a lot of people are settling for the status quo. As the quote so eloquently puts it, a 9 to 5 gives us a sense of comfort which seems to keep us in line.
