In the spring of 2008, I took a business course called “Project Great Potential” at The Enterprise Center, in Philadelphia. It was great to see minorities who I could actually shake hands with that made a big impact in their communities through their businesses. I met many entrepreneurs who had the same vision as myself who’s business venture actually came into fruition. When our graduation ceremony came around, I remember the guest speaker leaving a great impression on me. He said he attended many workshops on how to live a successful life, as well as talking to many powerful people who were not only successful in terms of business, but in the game of life as well. I remember writing the laws down on a piece of paper which I just found while cleaning up my desk last night. I would like to share these laws that he shared with us. By no means have I mastered the laws he shared; I am still a work in progress, but believe I am moving in the right direction.

). Dream big! Have lofty goals and a vision to strive for.

). Be enthusiastic about life!

). Establish goals! Goals are dreams with a deadline attached.

). Make the right decisions! Life boils down to good and bad decisions.

). Be action oriented! You have to do things whether you like it or not.

). Live a purpose driven life! Know what direction you would like to go.

). Be persistent! Your pedal has to be medal on whatever you want to accomplish.

). Surround yourself with winners! You are the company you keep.

). Have faith! You have to have faith and believe in yourself when no one else does.

). Have integrity! Be honest, fair, balanced, and respectful to everyone.

i completely agree with the 10 laws… the hardest part is probably believing and living it. But if you want it.. you can make it happen. Great blog!
